Future of Paws in Asia (FOPIA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending the consumption of dog and cat meat across Asia. Based in Singapore and headquartered in Vietnam, FOPIA operates with a clear mission: to create a future where dogs and cats are no longer seen as food but as cherished companions. Through awareness campaigns, education, and advocacy, FOPIA aims to eliminate this practice within the next decade, focusing on changing mindsets, particularly among the younger generation. FOPIA is committed to eradicating the dog and cat meat trade in Asia by raising awareness about the ethical, health, and environmental implications of this practice. We believe that by fostering compassion and understanding, we can create lasting change and build a more humane society. FOPIA primarily focuses on education and awareness, targeting young people who are the key to shaping the future.
